What you need
- Washable, non-toxic outdoor chalk
- A dry, even and traffic-free paved surface
- Comfortable footwear

How to make the path
- Draw six to ten large letters and shapes with safe spaces between them.
- Name each one together.
- Call out one item: “Can you stand on the circle?”
- Add movements such as walking, tiptoeing, marching or jumping.
- Let your child call out an item for you to find.
- Finish by inviting your child to draw a favourite letter or shape.
