Editorial Policy
Last updated: 6 August 2026. VersaKids aims to make practical content clear, useful and honest about its limits.
Who creates the content
VersaKids was founded and is managed primarily by Mota. “VersaKids Editorial Team” is the website publishing byline, not a separate staff team. The author name, publication date and update date appear on resource pages.
How topics are selected
Topics are chosen for practical relevance to families with an initial focus on play-based school readiness for ages 3–5. Empty categories are not published simply to make the site look larger.
Source review
Where factual or safety claims need support, VersaKids prioritises current primary or authoritative sources such as Australian government agencies, ACECQA, Kidsafe and established health or parenting services. Source links are listed on the resource page.
Writing and review
Each substantial activity or guide is checked for a direct summary, realistic steps, age context, safety or limitation notes, related links, image alt text, sources and FAQs where useful. Individual professional advice is kept separate from general information.
Images
Images may be commissioned, created or generated for illustration. They are checked for relevance, privacy and accessibility. Activity images avoid identifiable child faces where practical and alt text describes the useful content.
Corrections and updates
Material changes update the visible date. Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. Corrections are reviewed against the source and page purpose.
Commercial independence
Affiliate, gifted or sponsored relationships will be disclosed before or beside the affected content. At launch, VersaKids has no affiliate links. A commercial relationship will not guarantee a positive review.
